What we can work on

What’s in your way right now?

Whatever you walk in with, that’s where we start. People come to Patti with things like:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Relationships & couples
  • Disordered eating
  • Self-esteem
  • Life transitions
  • Grief
  • Self-discovery & personal growth

And sometimes there’s no word for it yet — just a sense that something needs to move. That counts too.

Step by step

How we work together

It’s a working partnership — active, practical, and yours. It goes like this:

  1. Start where you are.

Patti starts by listening to whatever you are ready to share. No digging required. We begin in the present and look back only when it helps.

  2. Untangle it as a team.

We work as a team. Patti draws on many methods — EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and more — and tailors the mix to fit you.

  3. Leave with something real.

A skill, a fresh angle, a next step. Every session sends you back into your week with something you can actually use.

Two voices, one table

What does a session feel like?

A little like this.

YouI don’t even know where to start.

PattiThen let’s start where you’re at. And where do you want to go?

YouI’ve been carrying this for a long time.

PattiThen we sort it through and untangle it, together. You don’t have to do it alone.

Skills, not just talk

What will you take with you?

Patti teaches practical tools you can use the same day. You’ll practice things like:

  • Create space between a thought and a reaction.
  • Handle big feelings without getting swept away.
  • Understand yourself — what you feel, and why.
  • Take deliberate action, one doable step at a time.

She also shares books and resources generously, so the work keeps moving between sessions.
